I can think of a quick and dirty way: use the commandline recover
command. For example, say you want know now about /etc/hosts.allow,
use the versions query to find out when this file was last backed up
and to what volume(s). From my own system:
% recover -s SERVER
recover> cd /etc
Then use the versions query:
recover> versions hosts.allow
Versions of `/etc/hosts.allow':
2 -r--r--r-- 1491 Sep 17 12:42 hosts.allow
save time: Sat Sep 28 01:07:13 2002
location: TaylorIncr.026 at DLT3
2 -r--r--r-- 1491 Sep 17 12:42 hosts.allow
save time: Sat Sep 21 01:04:45 2002
location: TaylorIncr.022 at DLT2
2 -r--r--r-- 1491 Sep 17 12:42 hosts.allow
save time: Wed Sep 18 01:07:58 2002
