We are currently experiencing a problem with Networker 6.0.2 on TRU64 UNIX
5.1

Two of the client indexes do not show some of the entries they should.

If I look under nwadmin the entries for root "/" and /usr do not appear. If
I run a backup on the client
it all looks ok in the group but the entry is still not shown. If I start
nwrecover on the client I cannot see either
root "/" or /usr.

I have restarted networker , run a level 6 nsrck on the client , tried nsrim
-X. I have tried everything
but forcing a media database scavenge.

I can see the savesets on the tape but cannot manipulate the older entries I
cannot see. We use nsrmm to
mark savesets as recyclable under certain conditions. This allows us to
recycle tapes. It now does not work
for the specific savesets on the problem clients.

Has anyone else seen this before , or fixed anything similar.

All other client indexes look OK as far as I can see so far.

Regards

Ian Mcleavey
Black & Decker.
