Hello Peter,

I don't.

The following is quoted from the relevant help topic in the nwadmin GUI:

"Max Parallelism - Determines the number of simultaneous operations in a
single nsrjb process. Due to design limitations, some jukeboxes can only
handle one operation at a time."

If you take this, and the thread on this month's list discussing the same,
into consideration, you will probably arrive at the conclusion that the
jukebox parallelism value has nothing to do with optimizing your data
throughput, rather it is used to control the number of concurrent SCSI
commands on the jukebox device.

Some of the postings in the thread I mention give some pretty nasty stories
around this issue, so if you are intending to tweak this value, I'd
recommend reading what our colleagues have said first.

Regards,

Matthew
