An occasional issue here when a mount request does not complete.  From the
GUI, the drive status is hung in "Verify Label".  This phase of the mount
process never completes.  The problem occurs on both a request for a read
and a request for automatic relabel for writing.

During the incident with the read operation, the tape mount was attempted
in multiple drives with the same behavior. This tape was loaded (but
not "mounted") then scanned and then could be mounted.

Any suggestions as to what could be the issue?  Media database?

The environment is:

W2K SP2
NW 6.1.2
LTO Seagate Ultrium
Storage Node deployment
