Robert,

To stop the browsing of your NetWorker Server, you can remove nwadmin after
installing the client side software.

If you want to prevent them from doing recoveries, you can also remove the
winworkr binary. That leaves recover on the client side to recover data, but
unless run from the networker bin directory, on NT/Win2k the user will get the
NT recover (which won't do them any good).

You can play with NT/UNIX permissions, and restrict access to either binary.

You could use the remote access attribute to make sure users aren't trying to
recover other user's data via directed recover.

Take your pick, and I am sure there are few I haven't mentioned.

Hi

I want to deny users from recovering to their own machines, or at least
stop them from browse the server via the Networker Administrator program.
Both Win2k/WinNT and Solaris

Can I do that ?
Does anybody have a nice solution to that

Thanks in advance
Robert Lejtorp
