Yes,  I know the Quantum document says 8639 but the Quantum people I
had on site changed it to: 19639.

>From the st man page.. it looks like they added Long time outs and
Mode Sel Comp  (c or u must be selected for compression).

I did not see any harm in either of these additions.    It does not seem
that different from 8639..

I'm not suggesting anyone change their st.conf..if it works, leave it
alone.
