Sonia,
I was getting this error also, I made some changes to my groups and how they
were backed up which stopped me from getting it.  Not sure why.  I used the
same group for incremental and full backups, when I created a separate group
for full, it went away.

I had this error message on my tape drives, during the backup.

Tape 1 = Reading: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
