[Networker] Client with 2 nics
2002-08-09 08:19:03
Hi
We have a W2K client with 2 nics, the 2nd has been installed recently so we
can use that for back ups rather than using the same one as the users.
For this I have removed the old client and created a new one with the new
details. It's backing up OK, creating the index files but when I check the
'indexes' tab in Networker admin I get the following message:
'No save sets found for client x'
Although networker admin is showing that there is data in the index.
In the details of the backup job it says that no full backup save sets were
found in media db, doing a full save. Which I would expect and other
clients that have been added have done exactly the same but I'm able to
browse there indexes.
I've re-installed the client and am still getting the same message.
I have checked on Tech dialog to see what it says and tried what it has
recommended but I am still getting this message.
The server is NT 4 SP6a Networker 6.1.1
Any other ideas
Nick
