Hello, Bacula Users,
I could not find any information in the manuals about this.
When trying to update slots of a virtual (mhvtl) iSCSI tape
library attached to Windows 2012 Server (also tried 2008), I
receive this message:
===============================================================
Connecting to Storage daemon Windows at 192.168.0.35:9103
...
Device "Drive-1" in changer "Autochanger" requested by DIR
could not be opened or does not exist.
Device "Drive-2" in changer "Autochanger" requested by DIR
could not be opened or does not exist.
3999 Device "Autochanger" not found or could not be opened.
===============================================================
I've tried different archive
values for the Changer: Changer0, Changer, SCSI/Changer,
with the same result.
Bellow is the device
configuration:
=======================
# windows-sd.conf
Autochanger {
Name = Autochanger
Device = Drive-1
Device = Drive-2
Changer Command = "mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d"
Changer Device = Changer0
}
Device {
Name = Drive-1 #
Drive Index = 0
Media Type = LTO
Device Type = Tape
Archive Device = "Tape0"
AutomaticMount = yes # when device opened, read
AlwaysOpen = yes
RemovableMedia = yes
RandomAccess = no
AutoChanger = yes
Alert Command = "tapeinfo -f %c | findstr TapeAlert"
}
Device {
Name = Drive-2 #
Drive Index = 1
Media Type = LTO
Device Type = Tape
Archive Device = "Tape1"
AutomaticMount = yes # when device opened, read it
AlwaysOpen = yes
RemovableMedia = yes
RandomAccess = no
AutoChanger = yes
Alert Command = "tapeinfo -f %c | findstr TapeAlert"
}
Regards,
