Hello,
we use bacula for backup our servers a long time.
our system run on a gentoo system with the bacula-version 7.2.0
now we need an offsite backup.
after i have set up a postgres replication i would like to start the director.
but here come the major problem:
bacula-dir JobId 0: Fatal error: Version error for database "xxx". Wanted 14, got 15
the offsite system is an "Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS"
"apt-cache policy bacula" give me 5.2.6+dfsg-9.1ubuntu3 as version with the packagemanager.
now.. how can i use this catalog schema with this "old" version. or how can i manuell update the package? I have no possibility to change the os.
You cannot downgrade a catalog database. All you can do is to upgrade 5.2.6+dfsg-9.1ubuntu3 into 7.2.0. Simple enough.
