Not sure what you are referring to here by "Have you tried if BAT is the client you want?" There is only a bacula-fd.exe that I see here and it can be started as both a service and as a standalone exe - the
second used to give the small icon in the task bar to watch status, etc when right click and status was selected. Now starting as an exe (or service) gives a running and functional bacula-fd.exe since I can backup etc. but no icon or ability that I see to
get the status any longer.

Hi George,
Have you tried if BAT is the client you want? It can run alongside the file-deamon on a windows-machine.
