Hello Bacula user's list.

We apologize in advance if it's considered bad form to post job 
openings on this list but we are looking for somebody with strong 
Bacula experience and we were thinking this would be a good place to 
reach out to possible developers.

------------Position for Linux/Python Developer with expertise in 
Bacula----------------

EditShare (www.editshare.com) is looking to hire an experienced 
software developer to work on our LTO tape backup and archiving 
products. This position requires working out of our headquarters in 
Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

We are seeking  a person who has:

– considerable experience using and troubleshooting Bacula under Linux
– an interest in the new LTFS standard (and ideally some knowledge 
about LTFS)
– strong experience programming in Python
– a solid foundation in designing and optimizing MySQL databases
– an understanding of SCSI level communications with LTO tape drives 
(for example, getting diagnostic information from LTO drives), 
especially under Linux

It would also be a plus if you have experience using a variety of LTO 
tape libraries from different vendors such as Quantum, Spectralogic, HP 
etc.
