OK, this is odd.   I just tried the label command for that one slot
and got an error

*label sotrage=SL24 slot=8 pool=Default barcodes
The defined Storage resources are:
     1: File
     2: SL24
Select Storage resource (1-2): 2
Connecting to Storage daemon SL24 at 127.0.0.1:9103 ...
3306 Issuing autochanger "slots" command.

3304 Issuing autochanger "load slot 8, drive 0" command.
3305 Autochanger "load slot 8, drive 0", status is OK.
3910 Unable to open device ""SL24" (/dev/nst0)": ERR=dev.c:506 Unable
to open device "SL24" (/dev/nst0): ERR=Read-only file system

Label command failed for Volume 000006L4.


And then when I looked back through the log of when I did "label
barcodes" for the whole carosel, I see that this slot failed at that
time too.   Any ideas why that might be?  It was the only slot where
that happened.  Faulty tape?   Maybe there are read-only tabs on these
tapes and it mistakenly got flicked?
