Nothing strange.
Everything works fine until you issue the "query" command in bconsole:
then you'll get:

This, IMHO, is no worse than what it currently does:

I think there are two kinds of ports in the tree:
_ those who install a .sample file and no right file;
_ those who install a .sample file and copy it onto the right file in
case it does not already exist.
Both solutions seem fine to me, while overwriting it is an anomaly.
