Hi guys,
I've created a sdfs mount, but when I do backups using bacula to a file device on the sdfs mount, the dedupe ratio is almost 0,
What is a deduplication block size for a sdfs volume?
hi radoslaw,
i posted some info on this a while back --
the bacula stream to storage is un-alligned and therefore enjoys very low (if not zero) compression on a compressing filesystem.
not many solutions are available -- buy more disk space :-)
cheers
