So Bacula backs up the pure VMDK files, fully every time (as partial
file backups are not supported)?
If you use a Bacula vSphere plugin than you can backup a vmdk images (with some additional files which is required to do a proper VM recovery) with a full and incremental backups (based on VMware CBT), both available with SAN or TCP/IP networks.
