[Bacula-users] Client side functions

I really like Bacula, however one drawback I have observed is the lack of client-side features. For example, it would be beneficial in some cases to be able to initiate a restore from the client. Also, for remote clients it would seem that a VPN connection or other be required since all communication is initiated from the server.

Does anyone know if Bacula is investigating making clients more autonomous?
