I am new to Linux. My system is Ubuntu 10.10. I used Synaptic Package Manager to install MySQL and Bacula 5.0.2-1ubuntu1. I have also installed the BAT administration tool from an RPM file (Bacula-bat-5.0.2-1.fc10.i386.rpm), then used Alien to convert  that to a DEB file and finally used dpkg to install it. Now, under Applications/system tools,  I have “Bacula Administration Tool” which says it’s the Bacula Director Console. When I try to run that I get this error - Failed to execute child process “usr/bin/bat” (no such file or directory)

I’m confused between the Gnome version of the Console and the BAT administration tool. Are they the same thing?

I am very close, but just not grasping how to use the GUI console.

Please help.

Thanks,

Dianne
