I reloaded the bacula-dir - I assumed that this would be enough?

Thanks for the link, I will check it out now.

Brilliant, as the weeks pass, I begin to enjoy bacula more, as I see it 
working, and begin to 'understand' how it works. Right now, I only have 
a sort of "If I push this button, then this happens" type of knowledge 
with bacula, and I'm trying to move to a sort of, "If I had to, I could 
recode this from the ground up with the same functionality, and 
features, and then some" type of knowledge. Sure it's a really, REALLY 
high bar to reach, but even if I only get 10% of the way, that means I'd 
be pretty awesome using bacula. (which is where I want to get really :))

Anyway, I have about 10 jobs to migrate away from a badly configured 
volume, am I glad that it wasn't to real tapes, otherwise that data 
woulda been bye bye!
