Hi,
We use bacula in our company for all server backups. The
backup portion is working just fine no errors on backing up (connects good to
the SD). However, when I am doing a test restore I get the following error.
I think it is strange that it can connect to the SD for backups, but not
for restores. It give the same error on doing restores to different
servers.
The Director and SD are on the same box. I have iptables
turned off, hosts.allow is All:All. Also have the max connects for dir is
100 and Max connections for SD is 100. It is not that busy of a backup
server, this should be the only thing going on. The authentication password
is the same for everything, I have changed the password in the configs I have
provided below for security reason; however, if the passwords work for backing
it up to the storage shouldn’t it work for restoring from the
storage? I have also restarted all the bacula daemons and have rebooted
the server. Please let me know if I need to provide more files and
information.
