Hate to ask, but added a powervault 114T on debian lenny, but can't find the tape unit..
dmesg shows dmesg|grep -i scsi [ 1.247708] Block layer SCSI generic (bsg) driver version 0.4 loaded (major 253) [ 1.772783] SCSI subsystem initialized [ 1.834142] scsi0 : LSI SAS based MegaRAID driver [ 1.842811] scsi 0:0:0:0: Direct-Access SEAGATE ST3146855SS S527 PQ: 0 ANSI: 5 [ 1.842811] scsi 0:0:1:0: Direct-Access SEAGATE ST3146855SS S527 PQ: 0 ANSI: 5 [ 1.896247] scsi 0:0:8:0: Enclosure DP BACKPLANE 1.05 PQ: 0 ANSI: 5 [ 1.916248] scsi 0:2:0:0: Direct-Access DELL PERC 5/i 1.03 PQ: 0 ANSI: 5 [ 3.178861] sd 0:2:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI disk [ 4.048288] scsi1 : ioc0: LSI53C1020A A1, FwRev=01032700h, Ports=1, MaxQ=255, IRQ=16 [79872.921810] ses 0:0:8:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 13 [79872.921810] sd 0:2:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 0
but no scsi attached.
Any idea what I am missing?
Cheers,
