I would recommend that you simply change your naming scheme. If you call 
a tape "Monday" "Tuesday" etc. you will always be fighting bacula, 
because it doesn't understand the words and reuses tapes whenever it 
feels appropriate. So even though you may have fixed the Tuesday tape 
this week, next week may again be a problem.

In your example, actually bacula will be using the "Monday" tape again 
tomorrow - simply because that is the oldest backup. You could try and 
prune so the Wednesday tape becomes appendable first, but ultimately 
this will be a losing battle.

You are much better off working with bacula rather than against it.
