I'm not sure if the Eeebox is somehow special, but usually, an sd-card 
would be treated like a hard disk. When using a hard disk for backup, 
each file - not the whole drive - corresponds to a volume. Bacula really 
doesn't know much about the drive as a whole.

So you probably can use it as a backup device, as long as all your 
backups fit onto a single SD card.
