Good point. I will be sure to do that. It might actually take care of 
the dissimilar hardware issue.

I've actually done that for two of my customers, and - hate to say it - 
I regret that move; actually lost one of them over it. Linux really 
would do better in larger organizations where you'd need a dedicated 
support staff anyway.

Linux does very well in my own network, because I know how to handle it 
- and also because I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server to provide 
Active Directory and those pesky programs that insist on running on 
Windows even on the server side (Peachtree accounting, ACT!, Quickbooks 
come to mind).

Much as I'd love to do it, right now Linux is not the right tool for my 
type of customer. Maybe when Samba 4 is out and stable that will change.
