All,
I've not done this before but have to assume that someone else has. I am running Bacula 2.4.2 on Solaris 10 x86.

As part of providing end-end control and accountability of Oracle backups, I have undertaken to have my GRID agent execute Bacula jobs via bconsole shell script. I've not ever run jobs outside the scheduler before and have some concerns I need help addressing. Mainly, what priority will the job executed via the script have versus jobs run via the scheduler? If the tape device is in use by another job, how can I configure Bacula so that the script triggered job doesn't fail? If I trigger a job while there is a job running, and while waiting for resources to execute, the scheduler queues another job, which has priority?

Thank you,
Shon
