[Bacula-users] Bug with multiple Drives??
2008-08-21 21:36:57
I needed to restore some files, a job over three tapes with the third tape already loaded into drive-2, the restore job decided to use drive-1 and after the first two tapes, couldn’t load/find the third tape. I tried to manually unmount the tape from drive-2, but it was being read from even though there were no jobs running.
I tried again just restoring from the tape that was in drive-2, this time back-ups were running to drive-2, the director again wanted that tape in drive-1 and would not notice that the tape was already in drive-2 and queue the restore for it.
Is there a way to get restores to be a little smarter about what tapes are already in which drives?
Thanks,
Robert
