Hi!
The I/O error (Error: entrada/salida) is because btape can't access to
the tape device. You should take a look at the "dmesg" output in
order to get some idea on what caused the error, because it worked at
first, and after few operations you got the error. You should verify
the tape drive connections, and maybe try to use another tape (maybe
you got a bad tape), or maybe you got a bad tape drive :-S .
Sometimes, there are some issues with the scsi drivers... but we need
more info in order to help.
