I have diffs for the in-tree port for OpenBSD 4.3 and 4.4 at
http://erdelynet.com/downloads/diffs/
They include a 'no_bat' and a 'no_server' PSEUDO_FLAVOR.

So, to build the client only, apply the diff to your ports tree and run:
FLAVOR="no_bat no_server" make package

You can also build the bat and server subpackages by just running:
make package

I didn't get any test feedback on 2.4.1 and the feedback I did get for
2.4.2 was too late for me to get it in for OpenBSD 4.4.  Something
similar to my bacula-2.4.2-openbsd.4.4.diff will go in after the ports
tree unlocks.
