Hi,

We have bacula 2.2.8. At the moment there are 40 Clients backuped up to one
storage daemon to disk. The data on disk will be migrated to tape. Everything
worked fine over some weeks. Now bacula stops doing backups. "stat dir" gave me:

*stat dir
dss-bacula-dir Version: 2.2.8 (26 January 2008) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu debian 4.0
Daemon started 30-May-08 15:11, 236 Jobs run since started.
 Heap: heap=4,104,192 smbytes=3,805,081 max_bytes=3,817,014 bufs=14,736
max_bufs=14,815

And so on for 100 jobs. I have canceld the first 2 jobs (3101 and 3102). I
hoped that bacula would return to work, but nothing was happend.

Over the week this configuration works fine. Max concurrent jobs is set to 20
for Storage, Direktor and Storage-Daemon. Client is set to 2 max conccurent
jobs.

There are no log entrys why this situation occured. Restart bacula-sd gets no
effect. The queue is growing but no jobs will be executed.

Is there a way to restart the Jobs at the queue?

Which possibilities do i have to prevent bacula from stopping in such a way?

The storage-daemon is working with a STK SL500 Autochange and 2 HP-Ultrium LTO3
Tapes. Disk is 1 TB FibreChannel Storage. Backup is made to Disk, after tree
days data will be migrated to tape.

Mit freundlichem Grüßen

Sebastian Lehmann
