I would make that much smaller so that you will have several volumes.
This way recycling will work on the full volumes. I believe I have
mine set to 5GB on one machine and 2GB on a second. My volume space is
less than 100GB on any of my file volumes. I use tape mostly for
system backups and file for configuration settings, cvs/svn and
database catalogs.
