Failed to add the host to the list of known hosts (/home/backuppc/.ssh/known_hosts).


In addition to password-less login, this error is also a problem.  It probably means your permissions on ~backuppc/.ssh/known_hosts are wrong.  Without the client being in known_hosts, ssh will prompt every time to be sure you want to proceed.

So there are two prompts (ok to proceed & password) you need to get rid of.
