I am currently hosting backuppc on a server running Scientific Linux
6.1.
When I want to browse a disk that is not the current series of
backups to find a file to restore using the CGI interface I always
run the risk of a backup running on one of the clients and
destroying the historical record.
Is there a way to start the backuppc daemon and disable backups
globally?
Also, on a side note the wiki seems to have disappeared, I get a 404
error when I click the link on the email digest I receive.
