Hi,
i see this issue as well some times on my system.
Increase XferLogLevel ($Conf{XferLogLevel} = 4;) and look on which file
rsync stop.
I delete the file then, make the backup and restore it again.
Do not really know whats wrong with this file, the following backups are ok.
