Sorry if I was not clear enough, English is my second language but I'll do my
best.
I don't want any of the backup data to get forwarded through the backuppc
server. I want the backuppc server to start the backup, use the NAS as
cpool/Archive location, but I don't want it to get routed through the backuppc
server. So in a perfect world, get the backups straight to the NAS.
The backuppc server is in the cloud
The NAS and the servers/workstations getting backed up are located very
remotely and we only have a slow dsl connection to them. Since the NAS and the
servers/workstations are located in the same building, they are connected to
each other through 100mbps LAN.
