What happens when you create a test hard link yourself?

touch /var/lib/BackupPC/pc/test
ln /var/lib/BackupPC/pc/test /var/lib/BackupPC/cpool
rm /var/lib/BackupPC/pc/test /var/lib/BackupPC/cpool
