Hi,
thank you very much for your reply.
I noticed that in default configuration "BlackoutGoodCnt" is -1, so, as in
documentation, blackout periods isn't effective.
Now I set BlackoutGoodCnt = 0, and in host summary I see:
This PC is used by spitz.
Last status is state "idle" (idle) as of 3/26 05:09.
Pings to spitz have succeeded 111 consecutive times.
Because spitz has been on the network at least 0 consecutive times, it will
not be backed up from 7:00 to 23:00 on Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat.
Before my edit, I did not see the last line ("Because spitz...") so I think
NOW it will work as as expected
ANYWAY, because "spitz" and my backuppc server are in different subnet, and
ping between them is impossible, in fact I put this line in spitz's host
configuration:
$Conf{PingCmd} = '/bin/true';
do you think this can be an "anomaly" for Blackout period logic?
Thank you again
