Yes, the specific details of adding the users may vary depending on
how apache is configured for authentication, but generally you'd use
htpasswd to add the users and passwords for the web service, and add
the appropriate user to the 'user' field for each host in backuppc
('edit hosts' in the backuppc web interface).
