I have installed backuppc on my centos 6.2 with LVM and 4 hd (neraly 7 TB) and works great. This is what I did.

Install the EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) repository.
Disable the system-config-firewall and selinux (may be there is a better way to do this, but it works for me)
Then just:
# yum install perl-File-RsyncP.i686
#yum install perl-Net-FTP-AutoReconnect.noarch
#yum install perl-Net-FTP-RetrHandle.noarch
#yum install BackupPC.i686
Finally configure apache's user and backuppc. You should know how to do that. Is the same for every backuppc plataforms

Anyone have any pointers or good sites? I tried just following the readme in the tarball but backuppc won't start. Our old server is ubuntu 10.04 so that is no help either.
