Hey,
I have a XP machine which is part of an ActiveDirectory Domain. The
username I use is NOT the administrator of the AD domain- but he is
member of the administration group of the XP machine.
I created a BackupPC entry for this XP box and tried to use the smb
method to backup and the username and passwort from this local
administrator as well as share C$.
What I get is the following:
Running: /usr/bin/smbclient //xp-e4300/c\$ -U ladmin -E -N -d 1 -c tarmode\
full -TcrX - \\Documents\ and\ Settings\\\*\\Cookies \\Documents\ and\
Settings\\\*\\Local\ Settings\\Temporary\ Internet\ Files \\Documents\ and\
Settings\\\*\\Local\ Settings\\Temp \\Documents\ and\
Settings\\\*\\NTUSER.DAT\* \\Documents\ and\ Settings\\\*\\ntuser.dat\*
\\Documents\ and\ Settings\\\*\\Local\ Settings\\Application\
Data\\Microsoft\\Windows\\UsrClass.dat\* \\Documents\ and\ Settings\\\*\\Local\
Settings\\Application\ Data\\Mozilla\\Firefox\\Profiles\\\*\\Cache \\Documents\
and\ Settings\\\*\\Local\ Settings\\Application\
Data\\Mozilla\\Firefox\\Profiles\\\*\\OfflineCache \\Documents\ and\
Settings\\\*\\Recent \*.lock Thumbs.db IconCache.db Cache\* cache\*
\\Documents\ and\ Settings\\\*\\My\ Documents\\My\ Virtual\
Machines\\\*\\\*.vmdk
full backup started for share c$
Xfer PIDs are now 25588,25587
tar_re_search set
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
tarExtract: Done: 0 errors, 0 filesExist, 0 sizeExist, 0 sizeExistComp, 0
filesTotal, 0 sizeTotal
Got fatal error during xfer (No files dumped for share c$)
Backup aborted (No files dumped for share c$)
Not saving this as a partial backup since it has fewer files than the prior one
(got 0 and 0 files versus 0)
Any clue what could be wrong here? And no, password is correct....
Greetings
Christian
