Can you help me with ldap authentification and the way packuppc deals 
with it.

Ldap auth with ldap uid works fine.

Exp :
user djoe can bind to ldap using its uid(djoe)/password and then get 
information about his machine, associated with djoe user.

My problem is about email reminders. Backuppc uses "user" defined in the 
host, adding "domain" (EMailUserDestDomain) to send email reminders. In 
my case, it looks like ldap-uid@EMailUserDestDomain. But our mail 
server, does not accept uid in email. It's waiting for the real email 
adress . daniel.joe AT mydomain DOT fr is accepted and djoe AT mydomain DOT fr 
is rejected

I did not find any idea to deal with this.
apache mod_ldap can not bind to ldap directory using email adress.

Is there any way to solve this problem ? Something like "if uid bind is 
ok, get email user adress to match his machine" ?
