Did you change share names on the host that gives you that error?  If so, you need to go to the backuppc/pc/hostname/# directory and rename the share names to match the shares you are backing up.

Hello,

I have 2 hosts configured in backuppc 3.1.0 running on Ubuntu server
9.10 (upgraded from 9.04 some days ago).
1st host is localhost. 2nd is a Windows distant PC.
In cgi interface, while trying to browse localhost backups I get the
error "Can't browse bad directory name /".
I have no pb to browse Windows backups. No backup ran on this second
host since 2 weeks.

While listing content of backup directories on HD I can see one difference.
For Windows I have something like this:
-rw-r-----  2 backuppc backuppc  272 2009-10-01 09:17 attrib
-rw-r-----  1 backuppc backuppc  580 2009-10-04 09:18 backupInfo
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-10-04 09:01 fABBruno
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-10-04 09:01 fABErik
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-10-04 09:01 fABLucie
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-10-04 09:01 fABMarc
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-10-04 09:01 fABPatrick
For localhots I have this:
-rw-r-----  1 backuppc backuppc  421 2009-11-02 21:59 attrib
-rw-r-----  1 backuppc backuppc  548 2009-11-02 21:59 backupInfo
drwxr-x---  7 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-11-02 21:59 f%2fetc%2fapache2
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-11-02 21:59 f%2fetc%2fawstats
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-11-02 21:59 f%2fetc%2fbackuppc
drwxr-x---  2 backuppc backuppc 4096 2009-11-02 21:59
f%2fetc%2flibapache2-mod-jk

Not sure if the %2f has something to do with my pb. Probably not,
because when checking the content of old backups it's the same... so
probably something to do with Unix/Windows.

I have no pb to run backups (no errors and I can see the directories
created on disk).

Can someone help me solve this browsing  issue?
