actually, it's a Linux backup. There almost definitely is no share named '$C'
(or 'C$', for that matter) - for rsync/ssh that simply makes no sense. The
point is: you need a correct configuration, and that is really simple. Either
read the documentation (preferred method) or quote your configuration and tell
us *exactly* what you are trying to do. Having to guess that SMB is a bad
idea, because you might be using Linux, is really not the responsibility of
this mailing list.

Remember, the documentation is probably available in French, our answers
aren't.
