first, let's ask: what problem are you trying to solve?
backuppc is designed to schedule backups intelligently, and make them go off
when needed and when possible; not according to an inflexible schedule.

Are you trying to make them *not* happen at a particular time?
Or is there a compelling reason to have them be attempted at 5am, no matter
what? (it can't be guaranteed that they will occur; there may be a link
problem, or some other physical issue).

Read the config.pl file section about 'blackouts' if you're just trying to
keep them from happening at inopportune times.

If you really need to force one to be tried at a particular time, set up a
cron job. There's an entry in the backuppc wiki describing how to do this.
