[BackupPC-users] offsite backup storage
2009-01-22 23:30:03
So now that I seem to have backuppc working for my local servers to a
local backuppc server, I want to send those backups to a remote
offsite server. The offsite server I have leased and do not have
physical access to. So the question here is how best to do it.
Do I install backuppc on that remote server and schedule it to backup
the entire /var/backuppc/pc directory? If so and since it is remote,
is there a a wget to get backuppc to install up there?
Or is it better to schedule some kind of cron to rsync to the remote
on the /var/backuppc/pc directory?
