Hello,
I just installed BackupPC 3.1.0 on a debian lenny system (the official
debian package).
Backups of my /home - Directory are made with rsync. The first full
backup (22GB) took about 3 Hours.
But the next day, when the incremental backup started, it took the same
time, and the incremental backup was even a little bit bigger than the
last full backup.
It seems that not an incremental backup was done... it was a full
backup. All files of the full backup exist now also in the incremental
backup folder (plus some files that have been added during the last
day). Why does BackupPC not recognize only the files that changed?
My Linux Client is an OpenSUSE 11.0 system. Backup method (as mentioned)
is rsync over a ssh connection.
