Thanks Tony, with that command I was able to check the end of XferLog file.

Here's what the log file says:

Can't write 32780 bytes to socket
Read EOF: Connection reset by peer
Tried again: got 0 bytes
finish: removing in-process file /path/to/some/directory/images/nat_logo-on.gif
Child is aborting
Done: 2056275 files, 12947996535 bytes
Got fatal error during xfer (aborted by signal=PIPE)
Backup aborted by user signal
Saving this as a partial backup, replacing the prior one (got 2056275 and 2056275 files versus 0)

So I guess that BackupPC could be chocking in that /images directory.

I'll see if excluding that directory alone, will make the backup work. If it does not, I'll exclude more directories.

PATH-TO-BACKUPPC/bin/BackupPC_zcat PATH-TO-LOGFILE  | tail -40
