Fearing the number of DLE for the single client, I commented out
6 of them.
Amcheck ran fine.
I restored 2, leaving 4 commented out, amcheck ran fine.
I restored 2 more, leaving 2 commented out, amcheck ran fine.
I restored the last 2, amcheck failed.
I commented out a different 2, amcheck ran fine.
We have a limit in the size of the request packet ? Or the
number of DLEs for a single client ?
We currently have 72 DLE, 1 UFS dump for the root and 71 zfs-snapshot
partitions.
Given the current strategy, we are establishing separate zfs
mount points not only for our samba shares, new or migrated to
the new server, but we are migrating our users there, with the
intent of establishing unique mount points for each user, so
in all, we will eventually have 1000+ DLE for the single client...
Maybe its time to revisit the --one-file-system switch issue.
Not that I want 1000 users is a single DLE, but perhaps 'a few'
DLEs rather than 1 or 1000.
