Found it, and now that my memory has been jogged, I recall a problem a month
ago. It turned out that while /amandatapes/Dailys/data was owned by
amanda:amanda, the underlying slot9 had somehow become owned by root:root.
Fixed. flush is done. Aka false alarm. Sorry for the noise. I _thought_ I
had checked that. :(
I'll go put the 730 edition back in, I think it was actually fine.
