It seems to me it isn't.

$ locate amgetconf
/usr/local/man/man8/amgetconf.8.gz

$ whereis amgetconf
amgetconf: /usr/local/man/man8/amgetconf.8.gz

I am in the dark because it is a configuration that was previously done by
someone else and I have not had a lot of expierience with amanda (it ran
very well).
