You can also try to run the command as the Amanda user. This will
usually provide you with some error message to fix.

Hi solamanda,

Two things to check :

1. That you have added the 'amanda' user.
2. That the 'amanda' service etc al are in /etc/inet/services

use :

# svcadm refresh amanda/udp
# svcadm clear amanda/udp

to restart the service
